LUXURY GARAGE SALE is co-founded by partners Brielle Buchberg and Lindsay Segal. Childhood friends, Brielle and Lindsay always had a love of collecting; beginning with stickers and erasers, evolving to shoes and handbags. However, over the years their assorted collections soon overwhelmed their available storage space. Utilizing their backgrounds in fashion and sales, Brielle and Lindsay began selling their unwanted items. After realizing that their friends had the same predicament as well, a light flashed and voila... Luxury Garage Sale was born!
When cleaning out and editing her clients' closets and homes, Lindsay was always faced with the same question: what to do with all this extra stuff? Luxury Garage Sale was the obvious answer. Lindsay uses her styling sensibility (she's styled Wilco at the GRAMMY Awards and assisted in styling Lady Gaga for a WWD cover shoot), and her discerning eye and love for all things antique to help make the most of your living space. When she's not selling your stuff, Lindsay can be found collecting vintage tchotchkes and searching endlessly for the perfect brownie (crunchy outside, chewy inside).
After graduating from Indiana University, Brielle worked as a corporate event planner, all the while, looking for her "big idea". Brielle’s knack for sales is in her blood. Her family operated a renowned antique and home interior store for more than 75 years. When her grandparents decided to finally retire, Brielle helped them by selling their excess inventory on ebay and she was hooked! Luxury Garage Sale is a seamless transition for Brielle; she’s got a detailed eye and an uncanny ability to track down deals and keep up on trends. Brielle can be found spending time with her husband and four children (two human and two canine).
