Digital Marketplace Associate

Luxury Garage Sale (“LGS”), Chicago's premier designer consignment service, provides first class selling services to its high-end consignor clientele.  We are seeking individuals who have a passion for the fashion industry, luxury brands and the start-up culture to join our team. The role of the associate is responsible for maintaining daily workflow in a fast paced, rapidly growing marketplace environment.

The marketplace associate will assist the Customer Service Manager and the Marketplace Manager with general operations of our five ecommerce platforms, including corresponding to customers along with managing sales and shipments. He/she will play an integral role in the growth of both current marketplaces along with entry and strategy for new markets.

  • A self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, who is a team player who can balance the love for making customers happy with the operations required to do so
  • A detail-oriented worker with strong time management skills who is able to jump in on a variety of tasks that vary day-to-day
  • Effective communication and written skills – clear, concise and positive
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred
  • Highly detail oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple work channels
  • Familiarity with luxury products and services is preferred but not required

          • This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) with 10-15 hours required on Saturdays and Sundays.  The employee can choose his/her schedule for the remaining 25-30 hours between Monday and Friday.

          • Field incoming online questions across all internal selling channels
          • Proficient in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest)
