Absolutely. We take security very seriously and do not share private information with any parties. We run Luxury Garage Sale operations on a secure and private server so payment information is always safe.

How do I find an item on the website?

There are many ways to shop our site! You can search, browse by category, or set filters.

  • If you know what you are looking for, type your keyword(s) into the search bar located at the top right of any page.
  • To browse by category, simply select an option from the menu at the top of any page.
  • To narrow your results, you can use the filters located on the left side of any browsing page.

Can’t find what you are looking for?

Check our site often as we post new items daily however if you are looking for something specific you cannot find visit our personal styling page and fill out the form. You will be matched with one of our amazing personal stylists who will take note of your wishlist and let you know when your desired piece(s) makes their way through our doors. They’ll also be able to help recommend others to match your style!

Can I try an item on at one of your stores?

Yes, please select 'try on in store' from the item(s) listing page, let us know what store works best for you, and confirm your email so one of our stylists can get in touch with you within the next 48 hours regarding your request.

*Please note that we are not able to accommodate try on requests for pieces being featured at our pop up shops until the pop up has ended. As a result, some items may be temporarily unavailable for try on and we thank you for understanding.

How do you authenticate?

Luxury Garage Sale guarantees that all items sold on our site are 100% authentic. All products we accept are inspected for brand-specific guidelines and are put through a rigorous multi-point inspection to determine authenticity before accepted into our inventory.

Please note, brands sold are not partnered with or affiliated with Luxury Garage Sale.

How do you determine conditions of your items?

Our team of conditions experts thoroughly evaluates each item by hand. We do our best to provide a detailed description of each piece including any wear or imperfections. Please reach out to us at if you have any questions.

Our items typically fall within 2 categories:

New: A brand-new, unused, and unworn item. Our new items may be in the original packaging and/or with the original tags attached. New items may show some wear from trying on.

Pre-owned: An item that has been lightly used or worn previously.

Orders & Payments

How do I know my order was received?

We will send you an order confirmation email once we receive your cleared payment and your order is entered into our system.

What form of Payment do you accept?

Paypal and Paypal Credit, Credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Affirm.

What if I receive a damaged item?

We do our best to describe an item's condition as accurately as possible. If you feel that an item you received is not as described, please reach out to let us know within 3 days of your order’s delivery date. Please email us at, letting us know what about your purchase was not as described. Please include any applicable images so that we can fully evaluate the situation and determine if there is any further action that we can take.

What if I receive the wrong item?

If you receive the wrong item, please notify us immediately at To help us resolve this matter for you as quickly as possible, please include a photo, description and/or the item number located on the LGS tag of the item you received.


How can I consign with Luxury Garage Sale?

We would love for you to consign with us! You can email and one of our consignor relations account executives (CRAE) will help to get you started.

How does the consignment process work?

When it comes to consigning your pieces with us, we offer a few different options:

  • You can schedule an appointment with one of our consignor relations account executives who will be happy to stop by and pick up your items or stay a while and help you decide which pieces to consign.
  • You can stop by one of our boutiques or pop-up shops to drop off your items- someone will be around to help you out during our open hours, no appointment necessary.
  • We can send you a prepaid shipping label to send your items to us.
Once the pieces you would like to consign with us arrive at our processing facility, your CRAE will keep you posted every step of the way!

What is your commission structure?

You will receive either 60% of the selling price of your consigned piece(s) in cash or 70% in store credit, the choice is yours!

**If your item(s) sell below $150 you will receive 55% of the selling price in cash or 65% in store credit.

What brands do you accept?

We take pride in providing our customers with a curated selection of designer pieces. You can view our list of accepted brands here. If you have a piece that you would like to consign, but don’t see their brand name on our list, please feel free to reach out to us at to find out if we will be able to make an exception.


What is your return policy?

You can return clothing and shoes by initiating a return via email within 3 days of an item(s) delivery date. Please email us at with your order number, or at least your name, and we'll work from there.

**Please note that all accessories, handbags and jewelry are FINAL SALE.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

Yes, you will be responsible for return shipping and we do thank you for your understanding. You are more than welcome to ship your return back to us via the least expensive trackable method within 48 hours of having your return approved.


When will my order ship?

Your order will be shipped within 3 business days of cleared payment. Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email from with your tracking information so that you can track and anticipate your order’s arrival on your end.

What happens if I do not receive my package?

If your tracking number indicates that your package has been delivered but you have not received it, please first check around your home and with any friends or neighbors that may have accepted the package on your behalf. Next, please notify us at and we will work with the carrier to open an investigation. Please note that if the carrier finds that there was no mishandling of your package, there is no further action that we are able to take

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping within the continental United States is $10, Second Day Air is $25 and next-day air is $45

International shipping is a flat rate of $45

Canadian shipments are a flat rate of $29

Australian shipments are a flat rate or $49

Do I have to pay sales tax?

We are required to charge sales tax on all orders being shipped to or picked in states in which we have an operational presence.

These states include:

  • Illinois
  • Texas
  • New York
  • Minnesota
  • Washington
*We do host pop up shops throughout the country and are legally required to charge sales tax on orders shipping to any state in which we do have an active pop up. If you do see that sales tax has been applied to your order and your order is shipping to a state not mentioned in the list above, it is because we are currently hosting a pop up shop in your state. Please do feel free to reach out our way if you do have any questions regarding sales tax applied to your order.
